Mobile Counselling Sessions

We offer mobile counselling sessions in the comfort of your own home. We currently service most areas of South and West Brisbane, Queensland.

If you would like to book a mobile counselling session, please be aware that this is dependent on a safety and risk assessment.

In Room Sessions

We are also able to meet with you for face to face counselling sessions at our private counselling office space.

Telehealth Counselling Sessions

We also offer telehealth counselling sessions via an online, secure, end to end encrypted service.

This requires you to have a computer or laptop, and a good internet connection. If the internet fails, we will call you back on the phone number provided to us at the time of booking.

All our sessions are conducted in Brisbane Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Our Requirements

We value the wellbeing of our clients and our staff. Whether you have chosen to engage in mobile or telehealth counselling, we kindly ask that you have a quiet and private space to ensure that you are able to get the most benefit out of the time we are working together.

Report and Letter Writing

Writing reports and letters is an important part of the therapy process, helping with advocacy and creating better understanding of your needs. You may require progress reports, such as those required by the NDIA, or information to be shared with your doctor, or letters of support for adjustments at school or work.

The time required for report and letter writing varies, depending on the purpose. Fees are charged at the hourly rate listed for sessions and also apply to subsequent sessions and/or caregiver consultations.

Extra Costs or Special Requests

Occasionally, it may be necessary or beneficial for us to engage in meetings with other allied health professionals or stakeholders who are involved in your care or your child’s care. Whether online, in person, or over the phone, this can enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Additionally, resource development may be necessary, such as creating personalised information to support psycho-educational and therapeutic strategies, such as creating a social story, or compiling a profile based on insights from therapy sessions.

Our Fees and Charges

Payment Policy Information

Private Clients

We offer a free, no charge, 15 minute intake phone call to all prospective counselling clients prior to booking an initial appointment. This allows both client and therapist to quickly discuss concerns and goals and determine together if we will be a good fit.

Payment

Payment for all services is due upon booking and prior to attending the appointment. Non-payment will be treated as a cancellation.

Medicare

Unfortunately, at this current time we are not registered for Medicare. We have priced our sessions competitively, to match what you would normally expect to pay for out of pocket costs after the Medicare rebate is applied.

Travel

For private clients requesting face to face counselling that requires our team to travel, we charge $1 per kilometre from the therapist’s starting point. However, we do not charge for the first 5 kilometres of travel. By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to also pay costs associated with travel.

NDIS Clients

We offer the same, free, no charge 15 minute intake phone call to ALL prospective counselling clients, including NDIS participants, prior to booking an initial appointment.

We require a service agreement to be completed by the prospective client/representative prior to engaging in counselling supports.

Our fees and costs including travel associated costs are determined according to the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits guide as highlighted below.

Appointment Cancellations

Please note that fees apply for no-shows or late cancellations. However, whenever possible, your therapist will strive to ensure the fee is not wasted by providing you with valuable resources and information to support your journey at .

If you need to cancel a session, please phone our service a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment.  If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will need to pay the full fee of the session.

Of course, we understand that genuine emergencies happen, so if you have a genuine emergency which you could not foresee, the fee may be waived at the therapist’s discretion. If you forget your appointment, get called into work, confuse your appointment times etc. you will be responsible for paying the fee for the missed session.

We ask that in choosing to be a client of our service you commit to contacting us with 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel an appointment, or you accept responsibility for payment of the cancellation fee.

Likewise, if the therapist needs to cancel a session, every attempt will be made to contact the client in advance of the appointment time. If the therapist needs to cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, an additional appointment will be offered at no further cost to the client.

Payment

We aim to make the booking and payment process as smooth as possible for you.

We kindly request that session bookings be prepaid for your convenience—at least 48 hours before your first appointment and at least 24 hours prior to ongoing sessions.

The booking confirmation link sent via email provides a secure option for online payment.
